Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our Legal and Emergency Response team at blithequark. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in analyzing documents submitted by law enforcement, private attorneys, and pro se litigants, and applying standard practices and policies to ensure proper handling. This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week after completing the initial training period. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze documents submitted by law enforcement, private attorneys, and pro se litigants, including court orders, search warrants, subpoenas, and preservation letters
  • Apply standard practices and policies to ensure proper handling and routing of documents within the Legal and Emergency Response team
  • Review legal demands and code them for proper routing to Case Management, Real Time Operations (RTO), and the Emergency Response Center (ERC) as needed
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
  • Participate in other duties and projects as assigned by management
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive information

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in data entry or a related field
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in typing and 10-key entry
  • Verified ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute and 5,000 keystrokes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work professionally with sensitive information
  • Proof of US citizenship, which will be required upon start in the form of a US birth certificate or US passport

  • Formal training or experience in reading legal demands
  • Previous experience working in a legal or emergency response environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with data entry software and systems
