Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to collaborate with cross-functional teams in analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing creative solutions to key business problems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. As a Data Analyst at Blithequark, you will aid in the development of innovative data visualizations, design and implement analytical methodologies, and provide client support to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with record groups and contracting teams to identify and segregate changes resulting from over/under payment practices and consider these in actual to-anticipated results.
  • Aid in the development of convenient, creative, objective examinations that lead to truth-based answers for key business issues.
  • Provide client support to internal and external clients, including satisfying quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and utilize creative data visual display techniques to ensure data is conveyed in significant and interpretive organizations for all audience levels.
  • Design and implement inventive analytical and statistical methodologies and supporting tools for evaluating organizational processes, business issues, or potentially return on initial capital investment of products and services.
  • Team up with the record groups and contracting to identify and isolate fluctuations resulting from over/under payment practices and consider these in actual to-anticipated results.
  • Aid in the development and maintenance of an automated process to identify data and interaction integrity issues.
  • Furnish leadership with detailed proposals for issue resolution and identify both over and under stream effects of recognized issues.
  • Plan standard and impromptu management reports and presentations for projects.
  • Use inquiry-based tools to create and run queries utilized for data mining and analysis to support other work liabilities and impromptu tasks.
  • Perform specific tasks recognized in the compliance monitoring system, including assessment of definitions, cost increment maintenance, and organization ID.
  • Work cross-functionally with peers in Sales, Finance, Regulation, Agreement Improvement, and Agreement Tasks.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems).
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to aid in the development of procedures and project plans that meet division objectives within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining key associations with internal (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and external (business community, clients, and vendors) stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, determining issues to ensure finished goals.
  • Excellent time usage skills, including prioritizing/coordinating and following details and fulfilling time constraints of numerous activities with varying finish dates.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and prescribing and implementing strategies to resolve issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the ideal opportunity for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree.
  • Four-year certification in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced coding languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, C++, etc.).
  • Experience with system organization (e.g., Masters, Vendavo, Vistaar, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Wikis, etc.).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools in support of data analysis (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience with teaching, coaching, and training staff.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management, or managed care organization.
  • Experience working with pharmacy data at a retail pharmacy, pharmacy benefit manager, benefit consultancy, or managed care organization.
  • Knowledge of drug industry pricing.
  • Experience with project management (e.g., planning, coordinating, and managing resources to achieve the successful completion of specific project objectives and goals).
  • Familiarity with systems like Cure and GIS.
  • Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, and data warehouse management.
  • Experience in a data warehouse/business intelligence/decision support systems environment or IT experience.
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and data mining techniques.
