Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technician, IT Services. As a remote data entry and end-client support specialist, you'll be responsible for resolving technical issues, supporting end-client computing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. Key Responsibilities

• Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-client workstations and peripherals
• Address client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
• Contribute to workstation projects (global installations/updates) as a project team member
• Remotely diagnose and resolve demands using remote tools
• Investigate and collaborate with different departments to assist with system-related issues
• Record client associations in incident management system, including asset management
• Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
• Uphold remote access for virtual private network availability, as well as remote/broadband network for workstations
• Install and configure local and network-based printers
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
• Follow management direction, complying with IT policy and procedures
• Perform various duties as requested

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience/training
• 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues
• Firsthand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment

Preferred Qualifications

• A+ certification
• MCSE/MCP certification
• Previous IT infrastructure experience in an Airline/Airport environment

Skills and Competencies

• General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10
• Knowledge of workflow and ticketing systems
• Understanding of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues
• Ability to work independently and act in a cooperative, team-based environment
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
