About the Role

As a Financial Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in managing account transfers, ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of funds between accounts, and handling firm-to-firm transfers. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately enter and verify data to facilitate smooth transactions and maintain the integrity of the firm's data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform alphanumeric data entry from various source documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify data accuracy by comparing with original documents or re-entering in verification format to identify discrepancies.
  • Compile, sort, and validate data before entry to maintain quality standards.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors, or escalate them to supervisors as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs of data entry activities and completed tasks for tracking and audit purposes.
  • Enter information from source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills into designated data fields.
  • Manage high-volume data entry tasks efficiently, with a focus on meeting production targets.
  • Utilize spreadsheet and database software to manage data and perform required tasks.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in the financial services industry.
