As a remote team member, you will be part of a global community that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients and their customers. **Responsibilities** As an Online Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns with accuracy and efficiency * Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary * Building relationships with new customers to better understand and meet their needs * Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems in a timely and professional manner * Promoting interest in client products and services through effective communication and product knowledge * Continuously portraying and projecting a positive and professional image * Providing administrative support to the customer service team as needed * Assisting with overflow work and other duties as required **Key Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: * A strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within a team-oriented environment * PC keyboarding and internet experience, with a basic understanding of computer applications * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication * An upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor * Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role * Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English * Basic technical skills, with the ability to navigate through smartphone and computer applications * An upbeat, positive, kind, and empathetic personality **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or online support environment * Proficiency in composing professional emails * Familiarity with online chat software and customer support platforms * Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our team members' growth and development.
