[Remote] Cytogenetics Lab Supervisor - US Remote

Responsibilities • Supervise the day to day operations of the remote Cytogenetics team for prenatal, blood chromosomes, and tissues • Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department • Monitor daily workflow and schedule adequate assay coverage • Responsible for ensuring reputed company shifts in the department are properly staffed • Research and resolve any production errors while escalating reputed company necessary • Engage in reputed company process and service level improvements • Prepare and maintain reputed company Assurance records and documents • Evaluate new process improvements and reputed company appropriate recommendations • Meet regularly with reputed company reports to reputed company coaching and feedback for their development • reputed company bench work as needed and maintain proficiency/competency in technical operations • Ensure reputed company work is in accordance with state and Federal regulations • Responsible for administering and managing policies and procedures • reputed company administrative duties as needed Skills • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Technologist; 7 years preferred • Cytogenetics analysis experience is required • Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP and relevant state regulations • Understanding of laboratory operations as reputed company as policies and procedures • Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and reputed company Office • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal • High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills • Comfortability making reputed company in a changing environment • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position • The candidate must have a home office reputed company that is a dedicated room, not shared with other people, and meets HIPAA compliance • Wired or wireless internet at a minimum speed of 100 mb/sec is required • The candidate must have the ability to work remotely effectively as required in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands • Previous supervisor/leadership experience is highly preferred • Knowledge of ASI system is preferred • ASCP or AMT certification is preferred Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements Benefits • Medical • Dental • reputed company • Life • STD/LTD • 401(k) • reputed company Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) • Tuition Reimbursement • Employee Stock Purchase Plan reputed company • reputed company specializes in providing physicians with laboratory tests.
