Responsibilities of a Remote Call Center Representative

As a Remote Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicating with donors and prospective donors in a positive, engaging, and enthusiastic manner that strengthens the connection between non-profit and donor
  • Securing financial gifts from donors and prospective donors on behalf of our clients
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of donor interactions and transactions
  • Meeting or exceeding minimum fundraising and productivity metrics
  • Participating in ongoing training and coaching to improve performance and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements of the Fundraising Agent

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year or more of successful outbound telemarketing experience, with a preference given to telephone fundraising experience
  • A dedicated wired internet connection and a quiet place to work at home free from normal household interruptions
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications
  • A commitment and enthusiasm to the charitable and non-profit causes we represent, which is a huge advantage
  • Availability for full-time positions only (40 hours per week)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales
  • Familiarity with fundraising software and technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity metrics

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • $15-$16 per hour for 40 hours shifts (depending on schedule)
  • Top performers can earn additional bonus of $10-$12/hour, bringing total potential compensation to $20-$30/hr
