About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members, addressing their questions and concerns regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions. Your expertise and empathy will help simplify the healthcare experience for our members, making a tangible difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from members, providing clear and concise answers to their questions regarding pharmacy benefit plans, prescription insurance, and medication coverage.
  • Offer personalized solutions to members, helping them understand their coverage and options, and ensuring they receive the care they need.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy benefit plans, staying current on industry developments and changes.
  • Demonstrate empathy and patience when interacting with members, providing a positive and supportive experience.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements, ensuring the confidentiality and security of member information.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing environment, such as a call center, retail, or hospitality setting.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to problem-solve in a positive and productive manner, thinking critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to customers in a patient and helpful way.
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to the team.
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism.
