Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.

Position Summary

In this critical role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, answering questions, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support. You will triage resulting rework to appropriate staff, conduct extensive claims research on multiple platforms, and assist providers with payment questions. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically will be essential in delivering high-volume inbound provider calls for the Claims Inquiry/Claims Research team.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this position, you must:

  • Reside full-time in the state of Oklahoma, with a dedicated workspace that meets our technical requirements.
  • Have familiarity with Microsoft Office products and experience working in highly transactional call center environments.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, critical thinking, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Have high-speed internet access (25 mbps or higher) with a consistent connection and a work location set up with a direct connection to the router.
  • Hold a High School diploma or GED equivalent, with a strong foundation in education.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Prior experience in a remote work environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of claims research, payment processes, and health care operations, with the capacity to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Experience with customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and helpdesk tools.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of customer service representatives.
