Job Overview

We are looking for talented and dedicated tutors who are excited to work with students in the Atlanta area, including Buckhead, Decatur, Marietta, Roswell, and Duluth. As an in-person test prep tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and guidance to students preparing for the SAT and ACT. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one test preparation instruction to students in the Atlanta Metro area
• Develop personalized learning plans tailored to each student's needs and goals
• Conduct sessions in students' homes or mutually agreed-upon locations
• Utilize extensive knowledge of the SAT and ACT, as well as pedagogical strategies, to help students achieve their academic goals
• Participate in paid training and regular supplemental training to stay up-to-date on changes to the tests and pedagogy
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, and Applerouth staff to ensure a supportive and successful learning environment

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• Empathy, creativity, strong communication skills, and a desire to help others
• Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes or other locations
• High-speed internet access
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, but not required
• SAT, ACT, or other standardized test scores
• At least one year of college
