About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Innovation Office, you will have the opportunity to work with various groups, including Air Tasks, Client and Business, Framework and Services, People and Finance. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data, which is critical to our operational success.
Foundation
Our Quality Management Office (QMO) is responsible for ensuring the quality of the applications used by our teams, including airline stewards and pilots. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will work closely with our QMO team to test applications, identify defects, and ensure that our systems are functioning correctly. You will also be responsible for metrics to track progress and ensure that our leadership team is informed about the status of our testing efforts.
Client and Business
Our Southwest Getaways (SWAV) team is at the forefront of creating a new, revenue-generating product for blithequark beyond its core air product. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will have the opportunity to learn about the air business as well as the travel industry as a whole. You will work closely with our business clients to conduct requirements analysis, develop technical solutions, and ensure that our systems are aligned with our business processes and departmental standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
The responsibilities and duties of the Data Entry Specialist may include but are not limited to:
- Working with business clients to conduct requirements analysis related to systems and business processes to develop quality technical solutions
- Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business processes, and conform to departmental standards
- Managing timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementing to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
- Serving as a resource to ensure effective communications among business and Innovation Teams
- Participating in systems and acceptance testing
- Scope of work varies depending on the team assignment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Basic knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement preferred
- Basic knowledge of technical environment required
- Openness to Agile methodologies preferred
- Basic understanding of project management processes
- Strong analytical and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications

- Past investigator internship experience within the past year
