[Remote] HR Ops Specialist - Japan

The role involves addressing employee queries, ensuring compliance with local HR policies, handling payroll tasks, and supporting onboarding and offboarding processes while promoting effective relationships across teams. Responsibilities • Address employee HR-related queries with accuracy and professionalism. • Ensure adherence to Japanese HR policies and labor laws. • Handle payroll-related tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing. • Collaborate with HR Manager to enhance processes and implement best practices. • Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation. • Support onboarding and offboarding processes. • Assist in the development and execution of HR initiatives and programs. • Communicate effectively in both English and Japanese with internal and external stakeholders. Skills • Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR and payroll experience in Japan. • Comprehensive understanding of Japanese HR policies and labor laws. • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Certification in HR or payroll management. • Experience in a multinational corporation or similar environment. • Familiarity with HR software and systems.
