We're seeking an experienced Valet Attendant to join our team at Disney's Contemporary Resort. As a Valet Attendant, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to our guests, ensuring their vehicles are parked and retrieved in a prompt and safe manner. As a Valet Attendant, you'll be responsible for:- Maintaining a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients.
- Using salutation of the day and welcoming guests to the location, while practicing proper Towne Park phone etiquette.
- Parking and retrieving vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, and assisting guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed.
- Assisting guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries, and providing information about outlets, meeting rooms, and/or amenities of the facility.
- Explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival, and consistently completing and maintaining all ticket information, including key tags, guest folios, and claim checks.
- Calculating and collecting revenue for vehicles when needed, and consistently completing location on all key tags after parking vehicles.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Valet Attendant, you'll need:- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Ability to read and write standard English language, and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
