**Job Summary**
As a Member Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, answering a wide range of inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, services, and prior authorization requirements. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that every caller receives an exceptional experience, every time.
**Responsibilities**
* Answer incoming member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.
* Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
* Collaborate with our team to resolve complex issues and provide accurate information to callers
* Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
* Work from home with the flexibility to commute to our office in Richmond, VA when needed
**Required Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
* Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
* Ability to work from home and prove self-sufficiency
* Must commute to the office in Richmond, VA when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working remotely in a call center setting
* Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
