Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing customer queries and complaints, processing orders and modifications, and escalating issues across multiple communication channels. Your primary goal will be to provide empathetic, professional, and timely support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with the requirement of living in the State of Oklahoma and attending a comprehensive 4-week virtual training program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and effectively through various communication channels.
  • Communicate with customers, providing clear and concise information about our products and services, and addressing their concerns in a compassionate and understanding manner.
  • Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find solutions that meet their needs.
  • Process orders, forms, applications, and requests, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints, using this information to identify areas for improvement and optimize our customer service processes.
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary, collaborating to resolve complex issues and share best practices.
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process, contributing to ongoing improvements and enhancements.
  • Manage a team of junior customer service representatives, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure their success and development.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Must live in the State of Oklahoma full-time, with a dedicated workspace that meets our technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in a highly transactional call center environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • High-speed internet access (25 mbps or higher) and a consistent connection, with a direct connection to the router (NOT Wi-Fi).
  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience in the health care industry, with knowledge of medical terminology and health care systems.
  • Experience with claims research and processing, including familiarity with multiple platforms and systems.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of customer service representatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
