About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and passionate Employment Navigator Regional Manager to join our team at Workwarp. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in assisting and preparing ~200,000 servicemembers who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemen and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements, and employer outreach.

Job Summary

The DOL VETS TAP program needs an experienced, skilled, and passionate Employment Navigator Regional Manager who has prior experience leading geographically dispersed team members and a professional workforce. In this role, you will assist the Project Manager in implementing the Department of Labor's Employment Navigator & Partnership Program for transitioning servicemembers worldwide, manage and oversee geographically dispersed Employment Navigators at multiple military installations worldwide, and coordinate with installation Designated Governmental Representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in implementing the Department of Labor's Employment Navigator & Partnership Program for transitioning servicemembers worldwide.
  • Manage and oversee geographically dispersed Employment Navigators at multiple military installations worldwide.
  • Coordinate with installation Designated Governmental Representatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve program outcomes and increase the effectiveness of the Employment Navigator & Partnership Program.
  • Provide guidance and support to Employment Navigators to ensure they have the necessary resources and tools to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders, including military leaders, government officials, and community organizations, to promote the Employment Navigator & Partnership Program and its benefits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including military leaders, government officials, and community organizations, to promote the Employment Navigator & Partnership Program and its benefits.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with program requirements and regulations.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to Employment Navigators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including military leaders, government officials, and community organizations, to promote the Employment Navigator & Partnership Program and its benefits.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree AND 5-7 years of experience working as a Workforce Solutions, Human Resource (HR) Specialist or within Operations Management.
  • Experience leading, managing, directing a geographically dispersed team.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of Applications and virtual meeting platforms.
  • The ability to work well with the Military clients and must be able to communicate well orally and in writing.
  • The ability to travel up to 25%.

Desirable Qualifications

Additional desired experience and skills include:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Experience working with the Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program.
  • Experience working with the Transition Assistance Program (TAP).
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience working with virtual meeting platforms.
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Suite of Applications.
