Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing information and assistance to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers seeking guidance on health insurance options and enrollment processes. As a key member of our Customer Support Center (CSC) team, you will utilize our state-of-the-art eligibility and enrollment portal, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and other systems to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels, providing accurate and timely information on health insurance options, eligibility, and enrollment processes
• Utilize our eligibility and enrollment portal, CRM software, and other systems to perform tasks and duties related to customer support
• Assist customers with enrollment applications, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality standards, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and informed support to customers

Essential Qualifications

• Must be a resident of the state of Maryland
• Call Center experience is mandatory, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must have a personal computer with an i5 processor or higher and a high-speed internet connection

• Experience working in the health insurance industry or a related field
