We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Filtration Specialist to join our team, focusing on driving success in the filtration market and expanding our customer base and revenue.

About the Filtration Specialist Role

The Filtration Specialist will serve as the primary resource for sales and technical support regarding Media Clarification products and systems. This role is pivotal in establishing MFCP as a major player in the filtration market, with a focus on expanding our customer base, adding ancillary products, and significantly growing revenue. The Filtration Specialist will develop and implement strategies for product lines, work closely with regional management and product managers to establish marketing plans, and provide training to the sales and inside sales teams. This position requires a strong understanding of the industries we serve, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with customers, vendors, and company staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to internal and external customers and management as needed.
  • Drive the growth and direction of the filtration product line, developing and implementing programs to attain company growth.
  • Collaborate with Regional Management and the Product Manager for Parker Filtration to establish marketing plans, programs, forecasts, budgets, quotas, and training for each product classification.
  • Work through the sales staff to achieve success of the products through growth and profitability, identifying true opportunities and ensuring the sales force is focused on the appropriate opportunities.
  • Monitor and track competitive activities, including changes in locations, new competitors, turnover in employees, etc.
  • Provide sales support company-wide and handle all vendor information, creating a system for paperwork flow and communicating important updates to the staff.
  • Become proficient in the use of P21, Phconnect, Tour De Force, and TOPS, and provide price-discounting information for entry in P21.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 4-year degree or equivalent work experience with solid business acumen.
  • Completion of training courses as required by the company to ensure proper product knowledge.
  • A working knowledge of the industries we serve.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, vendors, and company staff.
  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as request for quotations, purchase orders, quotations from vendors, drawings, catalog data, operating and maintenance instructions, and process manuals.
  • To be over the age of 21, as driving is required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in the filtration or industrial systems industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Parker Filtration products and systems.
  • Experience with sales and technical support, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
