Position Snapshot – Remote National Accounts Manager (Western Region)

As the Remote National Accounts Manager for the Western Region, you will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle for large, multi‑unit accounts ranging from 50 to 250 locations. You will cultivate and expand relationships with national food‑service chains, quick‑service restaurants, casual dining establishments, and convenience stores. Reporting directly to the Director of National Accounts – West, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of National Accounts Sales Coordinators and leverage cutting‑edge tools to drive revenue, profitability, and market share.

Key Responsibilities – What Success Looks Like

  • Strategic Hunting and Growth: Identify, target, and secure new multi‑unit customers across the Western United States, delivering a pipeline of net‑new business that exceeds quarterly sales targets.
  • Account Development Plans: Design and implement comprehensive account management strategies for each target customer, outlining revenue goals, product mix, pricing structures, and growth initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Revenue & Margin Management: Own gross profit, margin, and revenue forecasts; regularly analyze performance against targets, adjust tactics, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Product & Service Advocacy: Serve as the primary advisor to customers, recommending product lines, packaging innovations, and service enhancements based on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive intelligence.
  • Customer Experience Champion: Resolve service issues swiftly, provide clear guidance, and proactively suggest process improvements that elevate the overall client experience.
  • Data‑Driven Reporting: Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in the CRM system, tracking calls, visits, quote pipelines, open items, and key performance metrics; generate monthly business reports for internal stakeholders.
