Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students, designing curriculum, and participating in service and recruitment activities. Key Responsibilities
- Teach eight course sections (4-4 load) per year for the Public Health Program
- Design curriculum and select appropriate teaching and evaluation strategies
- Align courses to accreditation, curriculum, program, and course outcomes
- Maintain office hours for students for mentoring, tutoring, remediation, and consultation
- Participate in service and recruitment activities
Essential Qualifications
Individuals seeking this position must possess the following qualifications:
- Doctorate in public health, health education, health promotion, community health, or related field
- Ability to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate students
- Ability to develop and deliver course materials via multiple formats (in-person, online, or hybrid)
- Commitment to creating an environment where all are welcomed
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Familiarity with national accreditation through CEPH
- Earned or be eligible for any of the following professional certifications: CPH, CHES, MCHES, CPHA, CERC, CPAPHS, or CCHP
- Experience with program assessment
