Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Organization Change Manager (OCM) to join our team, focusing on software development implementations and adoptions. As an OCM Leader, you will leverage your expertise to create and execute change management strategies that maximize user adoption, engagement, and proficiency, while minimizing overall risk to achieve business results. This role requires previous experience working through IT changes, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, from executive to frontline workers. Although this position is remote-friendly, you must be based in Omaha, NE, as we operate a hybrid office model, and relocation may be necessary. Please note that we cannot offer H1B sponsorship for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans to ensure successful project outcomes, including maximizing user adoption and minimizing risk.
- Lead project discovery to understand the change impact on each business area, define change management requirements, assess business impact, and identify potential resistance areas.
- Create actionable deliverables for core components of the change management strategy and plan, including communications, sponsor, people manager, and training plans.
- Lead key OCM activities to support change planning, managing, and sustaining outcomes, such as designing and conducting readiness assessments, evaluating results, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Build knowledge, relationships, and credibility quickly within the project team and business, serving as an advisor to junior OCM team members and coaching executive sponsors on change management strategies.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or IT Communications background, with a proven track record of successful change management initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar lead OCM role, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint creation.
- Change management certification, with Prosci certification highly desirable.
- Hands-on consulting experience, with the ability to lead by example and partner to deliver value.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a hybrid office model, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Strong understanding of IT implementations and software development life cycles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and credibility quickly.
