About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Maintenance Control Technician to join our team in a remote work arrangement. As a key member of our Maintenance Control team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support to assigned personnel as required, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize technical manuals, such as AMM, SRM, WDM, and others, to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
- Regulate the MEL/CDL/NEF/TAC process in accordance with the MOCPM.
- Coordinate requirements for field trips to non-maintenance stations.
- Mention and partially coordinate work of contract maintenance personnel in non-maintenance stations.
- Refresh defer data and DMR entries for non-maintenance.
- Investigate open non-routine maintenance items on assigned fleet(s) or system(s); assist and investigate and develop a plan to resolve persistent aircraft deficiencies.
- Monitor system or engine performance/shortcoming monitoring system and write follow-up items to ensure the effectiveness of corrective action to persistent issues.
- Keep an up-to-date list of aircraft status (ETR) and communicate ETR and MEL data to the appropriate IOC personnel.
- Alert the MOC Administrator On the job when issues arise that adversely affect system operations.
- Investigate past mechanical interferences and follow up to ensure a positive final corrective action.
- Maintain and control all aspects of aircraft certifications and ensure aircraft compliance.
- Perform other MOC duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language or language native to geographic area.
- Ability to investigate using wiring diagrams and system schematics.
- At least 3 years of Aviation Maintenance Experience on commercial or military aircraft.
- F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant license.
- Knowledge of MEL, ETOPS; GPM.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and days-off.
- Ability to travel for support of Unavailable aircraft.
- Ability to report to manage on an ordinary and ideal basis.
- Must meet FAA criminal history verifications to meet requirements for unescorted access badges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA).
- You will be required to successfully complete our drug screening process.
- Must be able to obtain proper airport power as well as US Customs security identifications.
- Must be able to act professionally under stressful circumstances.

- Broad Flight or Support Control Professional experience.
