Job Description
As a Part-Time Teller, you will be responsible for delivering a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial well-being and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Processing a variety of customer interactions, including cash transactions, deposits, and withdrawals
* Educating customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions and identifying banking opportunities during customer interactions
* Performing lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs
* Applying product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems
* Adhering to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits
* Ensuring teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued and respected
* Process high-volume customer banking transactions accurately and efficiently
* Educate customers on new technologies and banking products, identifying opportunities to increase share of wallet
* Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs
* Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems
* Adhere to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits
* Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience is not required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
* Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and use PNC's banking systems and technology
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
* Prior experience in a banking or customer service role is a plus
* Knowledge of PNC's products and services is a plus
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
