Why Join Workwarp’s AccessFintech Division?
At Workwarp, we are building the future of financial technology through the Synergy platform – a data‑driven, AI‑enabled network that redefines post‑trade collaboration across the global capital markets ecosystem. Workwarp champions a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and inclusive collaboration—where every voice matters and ideas are turned into action. If you are passionate about financial markets, love solving intricate operational challenges, and thrive in a remote‑first environment, this is the role for you.
Role Overview – Product Manager, Bank Loan Operations
As the Product Manager for Bank Loans, you will own the end‑to‑end product vision and roadmap for our syndicated loan offering. You will translate deep industry knowledge into tangible features, guide cross‑functional teams through rapid development cycles, and ensure our platform delivers measurable value to clients across the loan lifecycle—from origination and booking to rate resets, interest payments, paydowns, and restructuring.
This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a data‑centric mindset. You’ll partner closely with market participants, internal stakeholders, and external partners to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution with a focus on scalability, compliance, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain a 12‑month and 3‑year product roadmap that aligns with the broader Synergy vision and market demands for syndicated loan services.
- Market & User Research: Conduct deep research with loan originators, servicers, custodians, and investors to uncover pain points, regulatory impacts, and emerging trends that shape product priorities.
- Feature Definition & Specification: Translate business needs into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity for engineering, design, and QA teams.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership: Lead agile ceremonies, facilitate sprint planning, and act as the primary liaison between product, engineering, data science, compliance, and sales teams.
- Data & Analytics Oversight: Leverage Synergy’s AI‑driven analytics to surface actionable insights, monitor loan performance metrics, and drive data‑backed decisions for product enhancements.
- Lifecycle Management: Own the full loan lifecycle within the platform, including trade booking, rate reset automation, interest calculation, cash flow management, and restructuring workflows.
- Regulatory & Compliance Alignment: Ensure all product features adhere to relevant regulations (e.g., Basel III, Dodd‑Frank, AML) and industry standards, working closely with legal and compliance partners.
- Customer Success Enablement: Partner with the Customer Success team to onboard new clients, collect feedback, and iterate on product improvements that boost adoption and satisfaction.
- Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs—such as transaction volume, error reduction rate, time‑to‑settlement, and Net Promoter Score (NPS)—and regularly report progress to senior leadership.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Workwarp at industry conferences, webinars, and roundtables, sharing insights on loan operations innovation and building the brand’s reputation.
