About the Job

As a PS Warehouse Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing the logistical supply chain and onsite event operations for PSGE. This includes designing, implementing, and managing warehouse and logistical infrastructure, logistics planning, warehouse and inventory management, budgeting, carrier relationship management, staffing, and continuous optimization of logistical operations. You will also be responsible for event shipping and receiving, managing the setup of security offices, and logistical onsite operation needs for PSGE customer events. Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working with leadership to develop teams' short- and long-term goals and planning logistics strategically to enable the team to achieve those goals.
  • Preparing logistical operations and inventory management for expected challenges and building a resilient supply chain that is strong and stable enough to withstand unforeseen challenges.
  • Identifying and negotiating temporary advance warehouse space to service events.
  • Identifying, designing, and implementing inventory management software (IMS) and/or a warehouse management system (WMS) for multiple locations.
  • Creating strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with vendors across the event logistics supply chain.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and reliable transportation network to ensure prompt and proper movement of time-sensitive shipments to event locations globally.
  • Coordinating onsite staffing for freight pick up of PSGE assets at events for return to secure facilities.
  • Establishing protocols and procedures for onsite paperwork required by event vendors for release of freight from events.
  • Developing, implementing, and managing training programs for contingent workforce on warehouse, logistics, and onsite event operations.
  • Creating and managing event project plans/timelines, coordinating staffing needs, and driving the planning process for PSGE Events for logistics and operational set up and teardown.
  • Developing and managing operational budgets for facilities, events, shipping, supplies, etc.
  • Managing post-event reconciliation, reporting, and debrief process.
  • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene for warehouse logistics.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of event logistics experience.
  • Experience implementing and executing all aspects of an onsite freight management and logistics plan for multi-venue events.
  • Experience working with a global network of 3PLs and transportation providers.
  • Experience operating and supporting events logistically (corporate, hospitality, or other major event venues).
  • Experience improving and simplifying standardized mechanisms for tracking and reporting across business lines.
  • Experience analyzing and communicating metric outcomes in an easily digestible manner.
  • Experience utilizing MS Office Suite, Workdocs, Quip, Adobe, Airtable, shipping software, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience packing orders, managing inventory, assembling materials, and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Possession of an active valid state driver's license.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.

  • Ability to travel (50%) and work flexible hours.
  • Exceptional time management skills, ability to work under pressure, and deal with tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide solution-based responses to clients and vendors.
  • Experience improving quality, cost, and service to ensure "best in class" support for business partners and other stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and manage a complex workload.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage a contingent workforce.
