Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Member Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a remote customer service representative, you will provide critical telephone assistance to Medicaid members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that every caller has an exceptional experience, reflecting our commitment to customer-centric care. To be successful, you must reside within 50 miles of Richmond, VA, and be able to commute to our Richmond office when necessary due to technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from members and providers, responding to inquiries about benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs.
- Utilize high-speed internet connectivity via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted) to ensure secure and reliable service.
- Participate in comprehensive training provided by blithequark, which includes an initial six-week training schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
- Demonstrate self-sufficiency and the ability to work effectively from home, meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Capacity to work from home with reliable, high-speed internet and prove self-sufficiency.
- Must be able to commute to the Richmond, VA office when required due to prolonged technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working remotely in a call center environment.
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare.
