As a Remote Customer Service Representative at Workwarp, you will play a vital role in our customer service team by providing top-notch support to our policyholders and interested third parties via inbound calls. Your primary focus will be on explaining policy coverage, claim status, and assisting with claim payments or other policy information. You will utilize multiple systems to ensure that all inquiries and issues are handled promptly and professionally, with a strong emphasis on first contact resolution and high customer satisfaction. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively address customer concerns and provide personalized solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling a high volume of inbound calls (approximately 70-120 calls per day) in a fast-paced call center environment
- Providing exceptional customer service through heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties
- Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensuring customer needs are met on every interaction, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence
- Maintaining department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management to ensure operational efficiency
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following essential qualifications:
- At least 1 year of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with additional experience in a receptionist role or a position that involves daily phone calls
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Remote experience is strongly preferred but not required
- A reliable internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 20 Mbps, and a hard-wired connection
- A smartphone to access VPN
- Insurance industry experience is considered a plus but not a requirement
- A quiet and professional workspace at home, with a fire extinguisher (or willingness to obtain one) for safety reasons
- Basic computer knowledge and skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- A minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
- Proficient use of computers, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills
Training and Schedule
As a new Remote Customer Service Representative, you will undergo a comprehensive 2-3 week training program, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm CST. This training will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in your role and provide exceptional customer service. Post-training, you will be assigned to a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with schedule flexibility between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm CST. Please note that weekend shifts are not typical, unless overtime is presented.
