Job Overview

As a Project Lead in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of projects that align with our mission and strategic objectives. Your role will entail coordinating efforts, delineating project scopes, and serving as the principal liaison for organization-wide initiatives delegated by our Executive Director. You will engage collaboratively with staff members, volunteers, the Board of Governors, and external partners to ensure the successful realization of projects that drive positive change in our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead diverse projects as designated by the Executive Director, acting as the primary contact point and ensuring timely completion of project deliverables
  • Develop initial project documentation and confirm alignment on the final project brief, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of project objectives and timelines
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve favorable project outcomes, including team members, volunteers, and senior leadership
  • Create and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets that are in line with organizational objectives and key milestones
  • Promote clear communication and collaboration among all project participants, including team members, volunteers, and senior leadership
  • Track essential project metrics and data points throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that project progress is monitored and reported regularly
  • Conduct evaluations post-project to assess outcomes and derive valuable insights, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Identify and address project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues to maintain project momentum and minimize delays
  • Provide ongoing updates regarding project progress and steer the project team toward successful completion, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a focus on project management, business administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a project management capacity, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and leading cross-functional teams
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing and coordinating teams, with a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven capability to demonstrate project leadership without direct authority, with a strong ability to influence and motivate team members
