Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming contacts for a variety of blithequark brands, assisting customers with their booking needs or questions through preferred channels, including voice, email, and chat.
  • Process reservation requests and support basic loyalty and customer care requests, identifying guest reservation needs and following sales techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for special booking rules and requests, loyalty guidelines, and case management.
  • Provide customer support through assistance and guidance in issue resolution, and maintain open communication with blithequark properties, related company contacts, and third parties.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, protecting company assets, and protecting the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. While no related work experience or supervisory experience is required, you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also need to have a reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 3 Mbps and upload speed of 1 Mbps, as well as a physical cable plug-in (ethernet) connection.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having previous experience in customer service or a related field can be an asset in this role. Additionally, having a strong understanding of the travel industry and blithequark's brands and services can be beneficial in providing exceptional customer experiences.
