Part-Time Bookkeeper
Role and Duties.
We are looking for an entry to mid-level part-time remote bookkeeper. The role is responsible for basic accounting work in QuickBooks, maintaining accurate financial records, handling routine accounting tasks, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. This role is suitable for candidates who have strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles with a few years of experience.
We are a small family investment firm with less than 10 employees located in Colorado and Texas.
Specific Job Duties.
•Reconciliation of statements with internal records in QuickBooks
o Checking accounts
o Brokerage accounts
o Credit cards
• Update and maintain accruals and prepaids to create and input closing journal entries monthly.
• Create AR invoices for various services and enter AP bills.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed
