Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our loss prevention team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment, preventing potential loss and dishonesty, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty
  • Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide, ensuring that you are prepared to respond to any critical incidents or emergencies
  • Wear a complete blithequark-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to ensure your safety and the safety of others
  • Greet customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect, and establish a positive and welcoming store environment
  • Respond to customer requests for assistance, referring customers to store management or customer service via a blithequark-issued radio
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management, ensuring that all incidents are documented and addressed promptly
  • Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management, ensuring that the store is secure and safe for customers and employees
  • Adhere to all blithequark policies and procedures, maintaining and supporting our company culture and values
  • Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management, ensuring that all incidents are properly recorded and addressed
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to support the team and contribute to the success of the store

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and management
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making and ensure the safety of yourself and others
  • Ability to take initiative and perform well independently, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Prioritizes and organizes workload, managing time effectively and efficiently to meet the demands of the role
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, with the ability to move around the store and respond to customer needs
  • 0-2 years of retail or security experience, with a strong understanding of loss prevention principles and practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail or security environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective way
  • Experience working with Body Worn Cameras, with a strong understanding of the benefits and challenges of this technology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of adaptability and flexibility

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay range for this role is $16.00 to $18.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
