**Experienced Customer Care Representative – Community Bank Customer Service & Sales**

As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our organization, responsible for delivering superior customer service and creating a welcoming, engaging, and professional environment for each customer encounter. You will work closely with our team of best-in-class customer service experts to build and expand on client relationships, deliver banking products and services that meet the unique needs of our clients, and create a culture of excellence and service.
**Responsibilities & Expectations**
As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
* Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive customer experience through prompt and professional communication, both in-person and over the phone
* Responding to routine customer inquiries and requests, transitioning service opportunities into referral or sales interactions, and effectively communicating with customers and partner departments
* Accurately processing financial transactions, including transfers, refunds, and other internal bank transactions, while minimizing risk exposure and maintaining quality production
* Referencing or selling bank products and services to customers, expanding existing relationships, and marketing bank products and services to meet customer needs
* Demonstrating compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Information Security, and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements
* Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and adhering to bank and retail operating procedures and protocols
* Performing other duties as assigned or required, including training or mentoring new representatives
**Required Skills & Education**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial services industry
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Ability to analyze, investigate, and achieve results
* Computer proficiency in Windows-based systems
* Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Capable of working with a team to determine solutions

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or reach with hands and arms. Requires the ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to talk and listen to others.
