**Responsibilities**
As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Answering phone calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to their inquiries and complaints, and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Focusing on customer retention through proactive communication, empathy, and problem-solving.
* Providing customers with clear and concise information about our service standards, policies, and procedures.
* Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing customer dissatisfaction.
* Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources, ensuring seamless handoffs and minimizing wait times.
* Following up on complicated customer calls, providing additional support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Completing call notes and call reports as necessary, updating them in our CRM system to ensure accurate tracking and analysis.
* Obtaining and evaluating relevant data to properly handle and document customer complaints and inquiries.
* Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
* Performing other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Bilingual skills (a plus)
* Some sales and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar and tone
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
* Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations, maintaining a positive attitude and composure under pressure
