About the Role
As a member of our Borrower Success Team at blithequark, you will play a vital role in helping student loan borrowers navigate our tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will quickly become an expert in the student loan landscape, serving as the first point of contact for our users. This is a remote, full-time contractor role for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring based on performance and company needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding blithequark's product offerings and how they address borrowers' needs, ensuring you can effectively communicate the value of our services.
- Engaging with borrowers via email and live chat, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Reviewing and submitting applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
- Proactively suggesting and implementing ideas and automations that can help scale the team, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
- Bringing user feedback to life with the product, design, and engineering teams to create new features and offerings, ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of our borrowers.
- Collaborating with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals in line with our social mission, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared objectives.
Essential Qualifications
We are seeking teammates with at least one year of relevant work experience. Experience with start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support is highly valued. You should be passionate about applying your talents in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue of our time.
