This role plays a vital part in supporting our Research Team by performing comprehensive business license research across a wide spectrum of industries and jurisdictions, including state, county, and city levels of government.

Responsibilities
- Conducts industry and location-specific research for our clients, identifying all federal, state, county, and city level business licensing requirements
- Creates business-specific research packages for timely delivery to clients
- Identifies and compiles licensure specifications in both PDF and Excel formats, including forms, hyperlinks, supporting documents, exam requirements, prerequisites, turnaround times, fees, and renewal data
- Communicates directly with government agencies to assist with business license research inquiries
- Provides research in connection with internal support tasks for other BL team members
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Customer Relations: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and government agencies
- Customer Support: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide timely and effective support to clients
- Customer Service: A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support
- Research: Strong research skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive research and analyze complex data
- Excel: Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets
- Customer Orders/Sales: Experience with customer orders and sales, with the ability to manage and fulfill client requests
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, law, or a related field
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of business licensing and compliance regulations
