As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will play a vital role in achieving this goal by providing exceptional customer service, assisting our pharmacists with patient care, and maintaining a clean and well-organized store environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Customer Experience:** + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * **Operations:** + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. * **Pharmacy Support:** + Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow. + Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly. + Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs. + Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions. + Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhere to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. * **Additional Responsibilities:** + Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist. + Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner. + Assist and support Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. + Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs. + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). + Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures. + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Assume web pick-up responsibilities and assist with exterior and interior maintenance. **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent required;
