**Responsibilities**
As a Member Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
* Answering incoming member and provider calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.
* Providing accurate and timely information to ensure a positive customer experience
* Resolving complex issues and escalating concerns to senior representatives as needed
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues
* Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
* Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
* Ability to work from home and prove self-sufficiency
* High-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
* Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, experience with working remotely in a call center setting and familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare would be a significant advantage.
**Training and Development**
As a new hire, you'll participate in a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. Our training schedule includes:
* First 6 weeks: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
* Production schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
**Compensation and Benefits**

* Pay range: $17.00 - $27.90 per hour
