**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
* Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and effective communication
* Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, adhering to our strict data protection policies
* Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and taking ownership of customer concerns
* Appropriately communicating with customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and resolution
* Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using your problem-solving skills and creative thinking
* Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that customers receive the support they need
* Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records and metrics
* Providing feedback on call issues, helping to identify areas for improvement and driving continuous growth
* Upselling when required, using your product knowledge and sales skills to enhance customer experiences
**Requirements**
To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:
* The ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, using your own equipment and internet connection
* At least 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment
* Be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent
* The ability to type 25 words per minute, with accuracy and speed
* Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
* Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and software applications
* The ability to recognize referral needs for customers, using your product knowledge and sales skills to enhance customer experiences
* The ability to work in an environment free from paper and electronics (outside of blithequark-provided equipment), maintaining a distraction-free workspace
* A dedicated workspace, free from distractions and interruptions, to ensure optimal productivity and performance
**Nice-to-Haves**
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial for this role:
* 6 months of call center experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar environment
* Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
* Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to use Windows operating systems, with experience in software applications and tools
* Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
