[Remote] Store Construction Project Mgr – Amazon Store
Responsibilities
Manage the construction process for new, relocated, and expanded stores
Manage the construction process for remodels and renovations of existing stores
Ensure Dollar Tree quality and financial standards are met
Visit store project sites to confirm construction progress and schedule
Hold Landlords, Architects/Engineers, and General Contractors accountable
Communicate with landlords and internal partners regarding project timeliness
Keep all internal and external stakeholders updated on project status
Input, maintain, and manage construction key dates in the project management system
Simultaneously manage 30-50 projects per year
Solicit and train new and existing general contractors
Recommend selection of general contractors after bid vetting
Award construction contracts after cost variance analysis
Effectively manage all facets of the Construction Contract
Conduct site visits to ensure projects are kept on schedule
Manage the RFC and CO process, analyzing legitimacy and cost of change orders
Ensure completion of store punch list items and follow up on warranty items
Maintain and input all construction key dates and upload documents into the SLM program
Provide cost estimates on new projects
Meet with stakeholders to conduct project autopsies and identify lessons learned
Requirements
Must be located near a major airport in Washington State
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
