**Job Summary**
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Using empathy and excellent communication skills to explain complex medical bills and resolve account balances with patients and their families.
* Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients to create affordable payment plans and take payments by phone.
* Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems, utilizing your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail.
* Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
* Continuously improving your skills and knowledge, with supportive coaching and feedback from your manager and team leads, as well as ongoing training.
**What You'll Need**
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare billing, or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
* Strong computer proficiency, with experience using software systems and navigating complex medical billing and insurance claims.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and support.
