From our exceptional benefits package, including up to 5% retirement match and college tuition reimbursement, to our market-competitive salary and generous paid time off, we are dedicated to making blithequark a place where you can thrive and build a fulfilling career. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative on our Rehab Services team, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers through phone, email, and in-person interactions * Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow to ensure efficient and timely care * Verifying insurance coverage and authorizations to ensure seamless billing and payment processes * Managing medical records and preparing accurate billing and coding to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements * Handling referrals, pre-certifications, and other business services as needed * Collaborating with our team to resolve patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner * Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines at all times * Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A High School Diploma or Equivalent * Less than 1 year of experience in a clerical or administrative role, with a strong preference for experience in insurance or customer service * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which may be required at some locations within 90 days of hire * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction **Preferred Qualifications** * 1-2 years of prior experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong preference for experience in customer service or insurance * Certification in medical billing or coding, such as CPC or CMC * Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software applications * Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds **What We Offer** As a valued member of our team, you can expect: * A competitive salary range of $15.64 - $18.75 per hour, depending on experience * A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with up to 5% match * Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays * Opportunities for career growth and professional development, including training and education assistance * A supportive and inclusive work environment, with a focus on work-life balance and employee well-being **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
