Job Summary
As a Customer Experience Coordinator at blithequark, you will play a vital role in promoting an exceptional customer experience and leading a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure prompt, courteous customer service, promote loyalty programs, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. You will lead by example, engaging and interacting with customers, and modeling outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Creates a positive internal and external customer experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is memorable and exceeds expectations
- Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism
- Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
- Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience, promoting loyalty programs, and driving sales growth
- Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates, ensuring seamless store operations
- Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving conflicts in a fair and professional manner
- Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizing as needed and providing feedback and coaching to drive performance
- Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities, and providing progress updates to ensure alignment and achievement of goals
- Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement
- Partners with Management on Associate training needs, identifying opportunities to increase effectiveness and drive business results
- Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
- Promotes credit and loyalty programs, driving sales growth and customer engagement
- Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs, minimizing loss and maximizing profitability
- Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment, ensuring the well-being of customers and Associates
- Performs other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to meeting business needs
- Strong understanding of merchandising techniques, with the ability to drive sales growth and customer engagement
- Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to provide clear and concise feedback
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to achieving goals
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors to drive business results and achieve common goals
- Able to train others, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and drive team performance
- 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and customer engagement
