**Job Summary and Qualifications**
As a Telehealth Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families through our virtual healthcare support team. This role requires proficiency in telehealth systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a virtual environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Insurance Verification and explanation of benefits to patients
* Respond/Answer incoming calls from customers routed from a CareNow clinic to a centralized queue and Quote estimated wait times
* Knowledge of Urgent Care EMR – able to access and read notes and referral orders, Register Web Check-Ins patients in EMR when indicated
* Trouble shoot/resolve problems
* Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
* Make out-bound calls to Web Check-In patients as needed, Follow up with patients with customer care questions
**Requirements:**
* 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting
* 1+ years of experience in a Customer Service or help desk capacity
* Experience using Experity for electronic health records or an EHR system is required
* Must have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet
* Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to handle complaint and unpleasant patients in a professional manner
