About the Role

The Claims Customer Contact Representative role at blithequark is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to make a meaningful impact on our customers' lives. As a Claims Customer Contact Representative, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound calls related to life and annuity claims, providing accurate information, and resolving customer inquiries promptly while adhering to privacy regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally handle incoming calls and ensure inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly, providing exceptional customer service and support to various stakeholders, including financial advisors and claimants.
  • Manage a large volume of inbound calls in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks and managing your workload efficiently to meet performance metrics and quality standards.
  • Efficiently research and document call reasons and resolutions, focusing on privacy regulations and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Handle inquiries in the best interest of the customer and the company, demonstrating a customer-centric approach and a deep understanding of blithequark's products and services.
  • Provide quality service and support to various areas, including Financial Advisors, Claimants, and Exchange Companies, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Follow documented procedures and guidelines when providing service to blithequark customers, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning and development.
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service or call center experience, preferably in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and resolving complex issues.
