Job Overview
As a Customer Service Phone Representative at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing top-notch service, answering inbound calls, and making outbound appointment setting calls. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate database records, monitoring SMS messages, and delivering exceptional customer service via phone, email, and text. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent service as the first point of contact to our customers, ensuring a positive and energetic attitude in every interaction
- Answer inbound phone calls, identify and resolve caller needs, and provide information with amazing customer service
- Make outbound appointment setting calls from already generated inquiries, utilizing your exceptional communication skills to build rapport and secure appointments
- Maintain accurate and useful database records, ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Manage and Monitor SMS (texting platform) and deliver the same amazing customer service as taking calls, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Have a designated and approved in-home workspace, ensuring a quiet, distraction-free environment conducive to productivity and focus
- Have a secondary work place in case your approved home space has technical difficulties, ensuring continuity and minimal downtime
- Meet the wired internet speed requirements (tested before hiring), ensuring reliable and efficient connectivity
- Receive inbound calls, place outbound follow-up calls, and answer SMS messages, utilizing your exceptional communication skills to build rapport and resolve customer concerns
- Answer questions about product details, company information, and account issues, providing accurate and helpful information to customers
- Perform basic account maintenance activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Meet Quality Assurance Requirements and other key performance metrics, striving for excellence in every interaction
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to type 40 wpm+ and work on a computer for extended hours as scheduled. You should have excellent active listening skills, be able to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections. A strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment are essential.
Essential Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to type 40 wpm+
- Ability to work on a computer for extended hours as scheduled
- Ability to speak on the phone and send follow-up emails for extended hours as scheduled
- Excellent active listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
- Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous call center experience preferred
- Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
- Previous telesales experience a plus, but not required
- Fitness industry experience a PLUS!
