**Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Opportunity with blithequark**

As a member of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our credit union's daily features, including check processing, object processing, direct bills, and budget transfers. **What You'll Do**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:
* Completing statistical access and balancing features to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
* Coordinating with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and facilitate smooth operations
* Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
* Working member cases/assignments to ensure timely and effective resolution
* Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws
* Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
* Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
* Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
* Completing daily balancing and department closing
* Obtaining information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
* Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
* Communicating with vendors to facilitate budget transfers
* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
* Depositing check returns, reviewing member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, verifying contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and court fees
**All You'll Need for Success**
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* A high school degree or GED
* Intermediate Excel and Word experience
* A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors
* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and a capacity for attention to detail
* Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
* Must pass relevant blithequark and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
* Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the team
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
