As a Work From Home Chat Agent, you will be part of a talented team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our customers. **Responsibilities** As a Work From Home Chat Agent, your primary responsibilities will include: * **Preparation (15 minutes)** + Log in to the chat system and familiarize yourself with the interface. + Review any updates or announcements from supervisors to ensure you are aware of any changes or new policies. + Set up your workspace for maximum comfort and productivity, ensuring you have all the necessary tools and resources to excel in your role. * **Training and Knowledge Review (30 minutes)** + Review provided training materials on blithequark's policies, products, and services to ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings. + Familiarize yourself with frequently asked questions and standard responses to ensure you can provide accurate and helpful information to our customers. + Practice handling common customer inquiries to develop your skills and confidence in responding to a wide range of questions and concerns. * **First Customer Interaction (45 minutes)** + Start taking incoming chat requests and greet customers warmly and professionally. + Listen attentively to their inquiries or concerns and provide accurate and helpful responses in a timely manner. + Follow blithequark's guidelines for handling different types of inquiries, such as troubleshooting, billing, and product information. * **Break (10 minutes)** + Take a short break to rest and recharge, stretch or walk around to avoid sitting for too long, and grab a healthy snack or drink. * **Second Customer Interaction (45 minutes)** + Resume taking incoming chat requests and assist customers with any additional inquiries or issues. + Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude, ensuring all customer interactions are documented accurately. * **Wrap-Up and Feedback (15 minutes)** + Complete any remaining tasks, such as updating customer records or notes. + Provide feedback to supervisors if there were any challenging situations or areas for improvement. + Log out of the chat system and prepare to end the shift. * **Post-Shift Reflection (10 minutes)** + Reflect on the shift: What went well? What could be improved? + Make notes for yourself on any learnings or areas to focus on for future shifts. + Plan any necessary follow-up actions or additional training. **Preferred Qualifications** While prior experience is not required, we welcome candidates with previous experience in customer service, sales, or related fields. Additionally, familiarity with CRM software or ticketing systems is a plus. Experience working remotely or in a virtual team environment is also desirable.
