Job Overview

As an Accounting and Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating client and booking information into our CRM and booking systems. You will ensure that all data entries are complete, consistent, and adhere to our company standards, while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive client information. In addition to your data entry responsibilities, you will also provide exceptional customer service, communicating with clients via phone, email, and chat to understand their travel preferences and requirements. You will offer personalized recommendations and advice on destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities, and handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and prompt manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update client and booking information into our CRM and booking systems, ensuring all data entries are complete, consistent, and adhere to company standards.
  • Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and integrity, maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and chat to understand their travel preferences and requirements, providing personalized recommendations and advice on destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
  • Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Make reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and other travel services based on client preferences, coordinating itineraries and ensuring all bookings align with client schedules and budgetary considerations.
  • Confirm bookings and send detailed itineraries to clients, ensuring that all travel arrangements are in place and meet our high standards of quality and service.
  • Stay updated on travel trends, visa requirements, and safety information for various destinations, offering insights and suggestions for travel experiences that match client interests.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client interactions using our CRM system, processing payments and handling invoicing as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in a similar customer service role or within the travel industry. You should possess strong communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English, and proficiency in using booking platforms and CRM systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-first mindset.
