Job Overview
In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to both customers and blithequark personnel. Your primary focus will be on assisting customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services via telephone or email. You will also perform accounts receivable duties, such as calling on outstanding accounts, processing credits and exchanges, and resolving account conflicts through our escalation process. Additionally, you will partner with our Sales Department to provide administrative support and perform basic data entry and other administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services via telephone or email
- Provide excellent customer service to both customers and blithequark personnel
- Perform accounts receivable duties: calling on outstanding accounts, processing credits and exchanges, and resolving account conflicts through blithequark's escalation process
- Partner and provide administrative support to blithequark's Sales Department
- Perform basic data entry and other administrative duties
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Essential Qualifications:
- 2 years of Customer Service experience in an administrative setting is preferred
- Prior Accounts Receivable experience is highly encouraged
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is recommended
- Verbal & written communication skills: professional telephone and email etiquette
- Essential skills: active listener, responsive, and personable
- Computer skills: proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, TEAMS, etc.)
- Time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- A collaborative, team-player capable of working independently
- Problem solver in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable performing basic mathematical skills (i.e., adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally carry parcels or packages, walk short distances, and sit for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Knowledge of customer service software and technology
- Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
