- Receiving and responding to calls and emails, documenting all activity in our system, and utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry to provide efficient and professional customer service
- Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms, and acting as a liaison between customers and insurance companies
- Processing changes to policies, following up with companies to ensure timely processing, and reviewing policy information to assist insured in filing claims
- Recognizing cross-sell opportunities and obtaining quote information to drive business growth
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and contribute to the success of blithequark
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment
- Property and Casualty insurance license required
- Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment
- Strong knowledge of insurance industry policies and procedures
